Job summary

Weston & Sampson seeks a Project Engineer with 4–8 years of experience to support renewable energy projects through permitting, design and construction across our Mid-Atlantic region or MA, NH, CT offices. You will work in a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality engineering solutions and manage multiple projects.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering, MS preferred, and a PE is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering required; MS preferred.
• 4 to 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Hydro CAD and other stormwater modeling software.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Valid driver's license; willingness to travel.
• Renewable energy project experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform site civil, land development, stormwater, utility designs for renewable energy projects including construction observation or administration.
• Prepare and submit permit applications for project development.
• Conduct presentations at public hearings to support permit applications for land use projects.
• Coordinate multiple disciplines and manage multiple projects in a team environment.
• Support permitting, design and construction phases of renewable energy development projects.
