Job summary

Nordex Group is seeking an Operations Project Manager in the United States Midwest region to drive execution readiness for wind turbine projects. The role coordinates Safety, Planning, Logistics, and Construction teams, ensuring timely handover to the Construction phase and clear KPI reporting.

The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering or business and 4+ years of experience, with strong communication, cost awareness, and project planning skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with full life cycle of power projects and business development.
• Excellent written and oral communications with a proven track record in project planning.
• Working understanding of cost accounting, budgeting and contract implementation.
• Excellent problem-solving/analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
• Knowledge of financial management.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to present information to groups of managers and customers.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word).
• Driving is an essential function; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate departments in the value chain (Safety, Planning, Logistics, Material Management, Quality, Construction, Commissioning).
• Update weekly execution readiness template with deadlines, progress, and deviations.
• Maintain weekly/monthly execution readiness KPIs dashboard.
• Perform Execution Readiness tasks for Construction until site team is identified.
• Act as link between PMEPC and Nacelles and Blades GLFs to manage component readiness.
• Provide offsite support to projects as needed.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
