Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking an Audit Manager to lead and supervise audit engagements for clients in the renewable energy sector. This role emphasizes mentoring Supervisors, Staff and Senior Accountants, while strengthening client relationships and contributing to office profitability.

The Manager will focus on attestation engagements, GAAP compliance, and related consulting services, collaborating with Principals and Partners to grow the practice and maintain high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 5–8 years in public accounting.
• CPA license strongly preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and U.S. auditing standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management.
• Ability to manage and mentor staff.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements, including planning, staffing, timing and decisions.
• Oversee engagement reviews and ensure quality results.
• Supervise and mentor Supervisors, Senior Accountants and Staff.
• Assist Principals with identifying and pursuing new clients.
• Develop client relationships and promote firm growth.
• Enhance profitability through efficient time management and staffing.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
• Represent the firm in conferences and industry activities.
