Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking an Audit Manager to lead audit and attestation engagements for renewable energy clients. The role emphasizes supervision of Supervisors, Staff and Senior Accountants, client relationship development and increasing office profitability.

The position focuses on GAAP-based attest work, within a national firm with strong Real Estate and Affordable Housing expertise. Located in Atlanta with hybrid work options and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; CPA license is strongly preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of GAAP and U.S. auditing standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Curiosity, professional judgment and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage time, priorities and a fast-paced workload.

Responsibilities

• Assume primary responsibility for client engagements, including planning, staffing, timing and decisions.
• Oversee engagement completion, identifying and solving issues with minimal supervision.
• Supervise and mentor staff, fostering professional development and teamwork.
• Perform annual performance evaluations and manage employee conversations.
• Assist Principals with identifying and pursuing new clients.
• Develop high-value opportunities from technical knowledge for Firm clients.
• Promote the Firm’s image through conferences, publications and trainings.
• Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to office profitability.
• Engage in ongoing training to enhance industry knowledge and skills.
• Other duties as assigned.
