Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP is actively seeking an Audit Manager to oversee audit and attest engagements for clients in the renewable energy sector. The role emphasizes mentoring staff, strengthening client relationships, and increasing office profitability.

You will primarily support attestation engagements under GAAP, while contributing to a broader Tax/Audit practice. Responsibilities include planning engagements, supervising teams, conducting reviews, and helping Principals pursue new business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; CPA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and US auditing standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements including planning, staffing, timing and issue resolution with minimal supervision.
• Conduct engagement reviews and mentor staff to develop technical skills.
• Supervise and coach Supervisors, Senior Accountants and Staff; manage performance conversations.
• Assist Principals/Partners in identifying and pursuing new clients.
• Grow client relationships and contribute to profitability of the office.
