Job summary

Meta seeks an Energy Analytics Manager to lead renewable energy data and forecasting efforts, supporting a cost-competitive, clean energy portfolio aligned with Meta's strategic goals.

You will work with Finance and internal partners to provide financial data, build scalable analytics tools, and coordinate with vendors to validate settlements and invoices for the renewable energy portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, energy, or relevant technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in energy analysis, energy finance, or renewable energy portfolio management.
• Experience with renewable energy settlements, energy contract management, renewable energy tracking systems and/or invoicing.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting renewable energy cost and generation data, virtual PPAs, green tariffs, and wholesale energy market data.
• Experienced in building data foundations and analytical tools.
• Experience in Excel/Google Sheets and working with large data sets.
• Experience in building cross-functional relationships.
• Experience with PowerPoint/Google Slides and presenting quantitative data.

Responsibilities

• Own the renewable energy data portfolio and report on project metrics including cost, generation, availability, and profitability.
• Create and maintain forecasts of energy cost and generation for budgeting and planning.
• Collaborate with Finance and Accounting to provide renewable energy financial information for reporting.
• Provide insights for ad-hoc inquiries from cross-functional partners.
• Build scalable tools and processes to enhance analytics efficiency across the portfolio.
• Coordinate with 3rd party vendors to validate monthly settlements and invoices.
• Collaborate with utilities and suppliers to ensure timely invoice payments and issue resolution.
• Support reporting on Meta’s renewable energy purchases, consumption, and RECs retirement toward targets.
