Job summary

Meta seeks an Energy Analytics Manager to join the Global Energy team. You will own the renewable energy data portfolio, track cost, generation, and profitability, and build scalable tools to enhance analytics for a cost-competitive, renewable energy portfolio.

You will forecast energy cost and generation, collaborate with Finance, and provide insights for cross-functional inquiries to support Meta's energy strategy and target progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, energy, or a relevant technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in energy analysis, energy finance, or renewable energy portfolio management.
• Experience with renewable energy settlements, energy contract management, renewable energy tracking systems and/or invoicing.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting renewable energy cost and generation data, virtual PPAs, green tariffs, and wholesale energy market data.
• Experienced in building data foundations and analytical tools.
• Experience in Excel/Google Sheets and working with large data sets
• Experience in building cross-functional relationships
• Experience with PowerPoint/Google Slides and presenting quantitative data

Responsibilities

• Own the renewable energy data portfolio. Track, analyze and report on project cost, generation, availability, and profitability.
• Create and maintain forecasts of energy cost and generation from renewable energy projects to support budget and planning.
• Work with Finance and Accounting to supply renewable energy financial information for reporting.
• Provide insight for ad-hoc inquiries from cross-functional partners.
• Build scalable tools and processes to enhance analytical efficiency and scale performance analytics.
• Collaborate with 3rd party vendors to validate monthly settlements and energy invoices.
• Coordinate with utilities and suppliers to ensure timely payment of invoices and resolve issues.
• Support reporting on renewable energy purchases, energy consumption, and RECs toward targets.
