Job summary

Meta is seeking an Energy Analytics Manager to join its Global Energy team in the United States. You will own the renewable energy data portfolio and build scalable analytics tools to support budgeting, planning, and reporting on a portfolio of cost-competitive clean energy projects.

You will forecast energy costs and generation, work with Finance and internal partners for reporting, and coordinate with vendors to validate settlements and invoices while engaging cross-functional teams to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, energy or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in energy analysis, energy finance, or renewable energy portfolio management.
• Experience with renewable energy settlements, energy contract management, tracking systems or invoicing.
• Experience analyzing renewable energy cost and generation data, virtual PPAs, green tariffs, and wholesale energy market data.
• Experience building data foundations and analytical tools.
• Experience with Excel/Google Sheets and large data sets.
• Experience building cross-functional relationships.
• Experience with PowerPoint/Google Slides and presenting quantitative data.

Responsibilities

• Own the renewable energy data portfolio and report on cost, generation, availability and profitability.
• Forecast energy cost and generation using forecasts, schedules and historical data.
• Provide renewable energy financial information to support reporting with Finance.
• Support ad-hoc inquiries from cross-functional partners.
• Build scalable tools and processes to enhance analytics efficiency and portfolio performance.
• Collaborate with 3rd party vendors to validate monthly settlements and invoices.
• Coordinate with utilities and suppliers to ensure timely invoice payment and issue resolution.
• Report on Meta’s renewable energy purchases, consumption and RECs toward targets.
