Job summary

Meta in Honolulu, Hawaii is seeking an Energy Analytics Manager to manage the renewable energy data portfolio and develop forecasts for cost and generation. You will collaborate with Finance and internal teams to deliver accurate renewables reporting and insights, while building scalable tools to improve analytics across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, energy, or a relevant technical discipline
• 3+ years of experience in energy analysis, energy finance, or renewable energy portfolio management
• Experience with renewable energy settlements, energy contract management, renewable energy tracking systems and/or invoicing
• Experience analyzing and interpreting renewable energy cost and generation data, virtual PPAs, green tariffs, and wholesale energy market data
• Experienced in building data foundations and analytical tools
• Experience in Excel/Google Sheets and working with large data sets
• Experience in building cross-functional relationships
• Experience with PowerPoint/Google Slides and presenting quantitative data

Responsibilities

• Own the renewable energy data portfolio. Track, analyze and report on project gross cost, net cost, generation, availability, and profitability
• Create and maintain forecasts of energy cost and generation from renewable energy projects to support budget and planning efforts
• Work with Finance and Accounting to supply renewable energy financial information for reporting
• Provide insight for ad-hoc inquiries from cross-functional partners
• Build scalable tools and processes to enhance analytical efficiency and scale portfolio performance analytics
• Work with 3rd party vendors to validate and analyze monthly settlements and energy invoices
• Coordinate with utilities and suppliers to ensure timely payment of invoices and resolve issues
• Support reporting on Meta’s renewable energy purchases, energy consumption, and RECs, and track progress toward targets
