Zusammenfassung

Meta’s Global Energy team seeks an Energy Analytics Manager to own the renewable energy data portfolio, forecast costs and generation, and partner with Finance to support reporting. You will collaborate with utilities, vendors and internal teams to ensure accurate settlements and insights across the renewable portfolio.

You will build scalable analytics tools, analyze market data, and contribute to achieving Meta’s energy and sustainability targets with data-driven decision making.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, energy, or a relevant technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in energy analysis, energy finance, or renewable energy portfolio management.
• Experience with renewable energy settlements, energy contract management, renewable energy tracking systems and/or invoicing.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting renewable energy cost and generation data, virtual PPAs, green tariffs, and wholesale energy market data.
• Experienced in building data foundations and analytical tools.
• Experience in Excel/Google Sheets and working with large data sets.
• Experience in building cross-functional relationships.
• Experience with PowerPoint/Google Slides and presenting quantitative data.

Aufgaben

• Own the renewable energy data portfolio. Track, analyze and report on project gross cost, net cost, generation, availability and profitability.
• Create and maintain forecasts of energy cost and generation from renewable energy projects.
• Work with Finance and Accounting to supply renewable energy financial information for reporting.
• Provide insight for ad-hoc inquiries from cross-functional partners.
• Build scalable tools and processes to enhance analytical efficiency and scale portfolio performance analytics.
• Collaborate with 3rd party vendors to validate monthly settlements and energy invoices.
• Coordinate with utilities and suppliers to ensure timely payment of invoices and resolve issues.
• Support reporting on Meta’s renewable energy purchases, energy consumption and RECs, and progress toward targets.
