Job summary

Meta is seeking an Energy Analytics Manager to join the Global Energy team in Oregon. You will own the renewable energy data portfolio, analyze project economics, and forecast cost and generation to support budget and planning.

Work with Finance and internal partners to provide renewable energy financial information, build scalable analytics tooling, and support ad-hoc inquiries. Collaboration with utilities, suppliers, and cross-functional teams is essential to meet Meta’s renewable energy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, energy, or related technical field.
• 3+ years in energy analysis, energy finance, or renewable energy portfolio management.
• Experience with renewable energy settlements, contracts, tracking systems or invoicing.
• Experience analyzing renewable energy cost and generation data, virtual PPAs, and wholesale energy market data.
• Skilled in building data foundations and analytical tools.
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and handling large datasets.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with presenting data using PowerPoint/Google Slides.

Responsibilities

• Own the renewable energy data portfolio. Track, analyze and report on project gross cost, net cost, generation, availability, and profitability.
• Create and maintain forecasts of energy cost and generation from renewable energy projects.
• Collaborate with Finance/Accounting to provide renewable energy financial information for reporting.
• Provide insights for ad-hoc inquiries from cross-functional partners.
• Build scalable tools to enhance analytical efficiency and scale portfolio performance analytics.
• Coordinate with 3rd party vendors to validate monthly settlements and energy invoices.
• Work with utilities and suppliers to ensure timely payment of invoices and resolve issues.
• Support reporting on Meta’s renewable energy purchases, energy consumption, and RECs retirement.
