Job summary

OneSource Distributors in Sacramento, CA, seeks a Sales and Business Development professional to identify renewable energy opportunities and drive growth across commercial and utility-scale markets. You will work with Account Managers, branch teams, and leadership to expand sales while guiding customers through technical specifications and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in renewable energy, solar, energy storage, EV charging, or related industry.
• Experience supporting commercial/industrial or utility-scale renewable energy projects.
• Experience working with electrical contractors, solar contractors, developers, utilities, manufacturers, or commercial customers.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop renewable energy sales opportunities.
• Build relationships with contractors, utilities, and OEMs.
• Provide technical guidance and product recommendations.
• Coordinate with vendors and engineers on project needs.
• Support customer quotations, proposals, and BOMs.
• Deliver renewables training and market development activities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across sales, operations, and marketing.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business/Engineering/ Renewable Energy/ Construction Management
