Job summary

OneSource Distributors, part of the Sonepar group, seeks a Sales and Business Development professional in Sacramento, CA to drive renewable energy opportunities across solar, storage, and EV charging sectors. You will collaborate with branch teams and leadership to grow accounts and deliver tailored product solutions.

The role emphasizes consultative selling, relationship building, and cross-functional teamwork, with a base salary in California and commission opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in business, engineering, renewable energy, construction management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of renewable energy, solar, energy storage, EV charging, or related industry experience preferred.
• Experience supporting commercial, industrial, or utility-scale renewable energy projects and working with contractors, developers, utilities, or manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and support renewable energy sales opportunities within assigned markets and segments.
• Partner with Account Managers, branch sales teams, and leadership to expand renewable energy sales.
• Support opportunities involving commercial and utility-scale solar, energy storage, EV charging infrastructure, and related technologies.
• Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and provide timely updates to sales leadership.
