Job summary

Southern Power seeks an Engineer/Analyst to manage renewable assets (solar and wind), focusing on financial performance, operational excellence, and strategic planning. You will monitor budgets, forecast results, and drive cost savings across multiple facilities.

Responsibilities include analyzing revenue and expenses, coordinating with O&M and project teams, and supporting due diligence for acquisitions or development projects. Strong data analytics and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of power plant operations, project engineering, financial modeling, or asset management, preferably in renewables.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Contract management experience.
• Management of multiple medium to large-scale projects from planning through completion.

• Oversee financial, operational, and strategic performance of renewable assets (Solar and Wind).
• Track revenue, expenses, and asset profitability; monitor budgets and forecasts.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings or revenue optimization.
