Job summary

Southern Power is seeking an Engineer/Analyst to oversee the financial, operational, and strategic performance of renewable assets across Solar and Wind. You will track revenue and expenses, manage budgets and forecasts, and identify opportunities to optimize profitability.

The role requires collaboration with multiple teams to ensure asset reliability and compliant operations. Responsibilities include lifecycle management, due diligence on acquisitions, and reporting to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of power plant operations, project engineering, financial modeling, or asset management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Track revenue, expenses, and asset profitability.
• Maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for assets.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings or revenue optimization.
• Maximize value and efficiency of assets over their lifecycle.
• Monitor performance and coordinate with O&M teams for high availability.
• Support contract development and ensure compliance with O&M Agreements.
