Texas State Technical College (TSTC) is seeking an Extended Reality (XR) Developer to design, build, and maintain immersive XR applications for faculty and students. You’ll work with Unity/Unreal, WebXR, and LMS integrations to deliver scalable XR solutions.

You will collaborate with instructional designers, engineers, and AI teams to prototype, test, and deploy VR/AR/MR experiences, while adhering to coding standards and accessibility best practices.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, Extended Reality, or a closely related field.
• 3-4 years of experience with Unity or Unreal Engine and programming languages including C#, C++, or JavaScript.
• Experience developing interactive 3D XR/VR/AR/MR applications with source control.
• A portfolio, GitHub repository, or demonstrable XR work.

Aufgaben

• Designs, develops, prototypes, deploys, and maintains immersive XR applications using Unity/Unreal Engine.
• Develops scalable XR frameworks, reusable components, and interactive experiences.
• Integrates AI technologies and ensures accessibility and usability in XR environments.
• Develops browser-based XR experiences using HTML, JS, WebXR, and LMS integrations.
• Tests, debugs, optimizes performance, and supports deployment across platforms.
• Creates architecture, APIs, and integration patterns with enterprise systems and AI services.
• Documents code, architecture, and development processes to support collaboration.
