Job summary

Texas State Technical College (TSTC) seeks an Extended Reality Developer to design and build immersive XR experiences using Unity/Unreal, WebXR, and related platforms. You will translate learning objectives into interactive simulations, integrate AI and LMS, and collaborate with faculty and engineers to deliver scalable XR solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, SWE, Game Development, XR, or related field.
3–4 years with Unity/Unreal and languages C#, C++, or JavaScript.
Experience with 3D simulations and XR apps and source control.
Portfolio or GitHub with XR projects.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, prototype and deploy immersive XR apps using Unity/Unreal.
Integrate AI, avatars, and learning platforms in XR apps.
Test, optimize, and debug across VR/AR/MR and browser/XR environments.
Develop browser-based XR using HTML, JavaScript, WebXR.
Collaborate with instructional designers and engineers to define requirements.
Document code and maintain coding standards.
