Job summary

The BuildClub is seeking a seasoned operations professional to map real workflows inside operating businesses and redesign them for AI-enabled work. This full-time, remote role blends ops analysis with product design and change management.

You will sit with operators, reverse-engineer actual workflows, specify post-AI handoffs, and document new flows so teams can train effectively within the first 90 days. Ideal candidates have 6+ years in operating roles, thrive at cross-functional interfaces,

Qualifications

• Six or more years inside operating businesses (ops, RevOps, finance ops, customer ops, or similar).
• Intuition for how work breaks when you change one step in a pipeline.
• Fluency in process documentation, RACI, and SOP design.
• Comfort with AI tooling at the level of an advanced power user (you don't need to be an engineer).

Responsibilities

• Sit with operators and reverse-engineer their actual workflow, not the SOP.
• Design the post-AI version of that workflow with measurable handoffs.
• Spec what an agent or LLM should do, what a human keeps, and what breaks if either drifts.
• Write the documentation operators use to train their teams on the new flow.
• Observe real usage and tighten the design over the first 90 days.
