Job summary

Holmes Murphy Insurance's Creative Risk Solutions (CRS) team seeks a Workers’ Compensation Claims Specialist to leverage client service expertise in a leading TPA environment. The role focuses on managing WC claims, including lost time and litigated claims, with emphasis on accurate data, timely communications, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of workers’ compensation claims experience.
• Active state Workers' Compensation license required or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• Technical designations encouraged (AIC, CPCU).

Responsibilities

• Receive and transmit workers’ compensation information from insureds, claimants, and staff in a timely manner.
• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve lost time workers’ compensation claims.
• Mediates between insured and insurer on coverage issues.
• Enter and maintain accurate claim data in the system, including final settlement information.
• Generate indemnity and medical payment checks daily.
• Develop and monitor procedural consistency for CRS claims handling.
• Willingness to obtain licensing if required.
