Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking an experienced claims leader to supervise a Workers' Compensation team, driving high-quality service and operational efficiency. The role emphasizes leadership, hiring, and ongoing process improvement within a fully remote arrangement.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of related claims experience, active licensure across states, and a deep understanding of team functions and best practices in workers' compensation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (required).
• Minimum of 10 years related claims experience.
• Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled.
• Knowledge of all team member related functions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a Workers' Compensation claims team handling a variety of caseload sizes and complexities to deliver high-quality and efficient service.
• Promote Best Practices by guiding claims team to handle claims in accordance with GB’s Best Practices.
• Drive Talent by taking charge of adjuster hiring and training, encouraging a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
• Manage Workloads by defining team goals, motivating performance, and effectively managing workloads to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Utilize Technology to enhance team efficiency and overall quality of service.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and brokers in a professional, positive, and proactive manner.
• Prioritize and Develop by identifying coaching opportunities and positioning team members for development.
