Job summary

Gallagher Bassett in the United States is seeking an experienced claims leader to supervise a Workers' Compensation team. You will manage a diverse caseload, hire and train staff, and ensure high-quality service across remote-capable operations.

The role requires 10+ years in claims, proper licensing for handling claims in relevant states, and a strong focus on teamwork and process excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years related claims experience.
• Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled.
• Knowledge of all team member related functions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a Workers Compensation claims team handling a variety of caseload sizes and complexities.
• Promote Best Practices to ensure claims handling aligns with GB’s standards.
• Drive talent by hiring and training adjusters, fostering performance and development.
• Define team goals, motivate performance, and manage workloads for efficiency.
• Harness Gallagher's technology to enhance team efficiency and service quality.
• Communicate professionally with clients, carriers, and brokers.
