Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a senior leader to supervise a Workers' Compensation claims team in a fully remote role across PA, NJ, DE, MD and VA. You will oversee a diverse caseload, drive hiring and training, and ensure adherence to best practices for high-quality service.

The role requires 8+ years in claims, state licensing, and strong leadership skills. A Bachelor's degree is preferred and a commitment to development and process improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of 8 years related claims experience.
• Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled.
• Knowledge of all team member related functions.
• Bachelor’s Degree desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead and encourage a Workers Compensation claims team handling a variety of caseload sizes and complexities to deliver high-quality and efficient service.
• Guide claims team to handle claims in accordance with GB’s Best Practices.
• Take charge of adjuster hiring and training, encouraging a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
• Define team goals, motivate performance, and effectively manage workloads to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Harness Gallagher’s technology to enhance your team's efficiency and overall quality of service.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and brokers in a professional, positive, and proactive manner.
• Identify coaching opportunities and position team members for successful development.
