Job summary

RTX is seeking a Workday Skills Functional Lead to join the DT Talent Technology team in a remote capacity in the United States. You will own Workday Skills configurations, data mappings, and integrations, partnering with HR, L&D, and WFI to deliver scalable solutions.

You will guide functional design, lead cross-workstream initiatives, and manage UAT, ensuring system stability and compliance across the enterprise. Strong stakeholder management and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience; strong Workday background.
• 7+ years Workday functional or technical consulting focusing on talent, skills, and job architecture.
• Experience managing configuration, integrations, and functional design reviews with multi-workstream leadership.
• Ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders and guide workshops.
• Proven partnership with HR, DT, vendors, and leadership; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Workday Skills DT workstream with direction, alignment, and escalation management.
• Represent DT in enterprise groups; ensure needs, constraints, and downstream impacts are understood.
• Provide functional leadership to contractors and internal Workday support teams.
• Translate business requirements into Workday configuration decisions, data structures, and functional designs.
• Lead DT’s UAT planning, test execution support, and signoff.
• Oversee data models, integration requirements, and data quality for Skills.
