VirtualResource is seeking experienced Workday Functional Leads for remote contract opportunities. You will partner with clients to design and deliver Workday solutions, lead workshops, and provide expert guidance across Core HCM, Recruiting, Payroll, and related modules.

This remote-based role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, governance, and successful go-lives, with opportunities for mentoring and professional growth within a boutique consultancy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading Workday functional workstreams with module expertise
• Deep expertise in Workday modules such as Core HCM, Recruiting, Payroll, or Data Governance
• Experience leading client workshops and stakeholder management
• Ability to design and deliver Workday solutions in complex environments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Consulting experience in client-facing projects
• Workday certifications
• Experience across multiple Workday modules
• Global implementation or support experience
• Experience in consultancy or professional services environments

Responsabilités

• Lead design activities across Workday implementations and enhancements
• Facilitate client workshops and translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions
• Provide SME guidance on Workday best practices
• Produce functional design docs and configuration specs
• Support testing, deployment and go-live activities
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources
• Ensure solutions align with governance, compliance and business requirements
• Provide mentoring and quality assurance support
