Job summary

Hilb Group is seeking a motivated Workday HCM Analyst to join our team. This remote role reports to the Richmond, VA agency and will support Workday Core HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting, and Talent Management.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Workday HCM experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across HR, Payroll, and IT. Excellent communication and data accuracy are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, IS, Business Admin, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with Workday HCM.
• Experience supporting one or more Workday functional areas (Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting, Talent/Performance).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Workday reporting, security, integrations, or testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and administration for Workday Core HCM (employee data, positions, organizations, job changes, compensation, lifecycle transactions).
• Support Workday functionality for Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting, and Talent Management.
• Troubleshoot Workday issues, research root causes, coordinate resolutions with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and stakeholders.
• Assist with Workday business process configuration, testing, documentation, and improvements.
• Support annual HR activities (benefits enrollment, compensation, performance reviews, recruiting).
• Review data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with Workday reporting and provide data to HR and business partners.
• Participate in testing for Workday updates, enhancements, and configurations.
• Create and maintain process docs, job aids, and training materials.
• Respond to Workday questions and provide guidance on system processes.
• Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve user experience.
• Maintain confidentiality and data security.
