Job summary

Jobgether partner company is seeking a Workday Compensation Manager based in India to lead final-stage testing and implementation for a complex shipboard compensation program. You will coordinate with MAPS crew management and scheduling systems, validate configurations, and ensure go-live readiness for January 1 launch.

The role requires hands-on leadership, experience with CBAs and unionized pay structures, and collaboration with HR, HRIS, and Compensation teams.

Qualifications

Seasoned Workday Compensation professional with implementation experience.
Hands-on testing, configuration validation, and deployment readiness.
Experience with unionized compensation structures and CBAs.
Strong HR/HIS background and ability to work with vendors/Si.
Ability to manage contractors and a small team.

Responsibilities

Lead final integration testing between Workday Compensation and MAPS crew system.
Validate configurations to align with complex shipboard policies.
Verify union requirements, pay rates, allowances, bonuses.
Identify defects and coordinate with the SI for resolution.
Support testing cycles, defect tracking, and go-live readiness.
Coordinate stakeholders and communicate risks and issues.
Guide contractors and assist potential direct reports.
Ensure accurate compensation configurations reflect operations.
