Job summary

Southern New Hampshire University is seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst – Workday Adaptive Planning to own, develop, and optimize our Adaptive Planning environment. You will translate financial and workforce needs into scalable models, reports, and dashboards, partnering with Finance, HR, IT, and stakeholders to maximize value.

The role focuses on administration, model building, and reporting excellence, with responsibility for configuration, security, and ongoing

Qualifications

• Hands-on administrator, developer, model builder, or reporting role in Adaptive Planning.
• Experience building complex Adaptive Planning reports, dashboards, and management reporting.
• Experience with Adaptive OfficeConnect and management reporting packages.
• Strong understanding of FP&A processes and modeling concepts.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary Workday Adaptive Planning administrator and SME; handle day-to-day ops, configuration, maintenance, and optimization.
• Maintain Adaptive Planning structures: models, dimensions, accounts, levels, versions, sheets, rules, and security.
• Translate business requirements into scalable Adaptive configurations and reporting solutions for budgeting, forecasting, and workforce planning.
• Manage user access, roles, permissions, and security; monitor data integrity and integrations; identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain documentation and conduct training sessions for users and stakeholders.
• Design and build Adaptive Planning models that balance flexibility, control, and long-term maintainability.
• Partner with Finance and HR to define reporting requirements and develop Adaptive reports and dashboards.
• Develop, monitor, and troubleshoot integrations between Workday modules and Adaptive Planning.
