Job summary

Southern New Hampshire University seeks a Senior Business Systems Analyst to own the Workday Adaptive Planning environment, build models, configure planning solutions, and provide administration, reporting, and dashboards.

You will cooperate with Finance, HR, IT, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Adaptive solutions, oversee security and data integrity, and drive platform optimization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive hands-on experience in an administrator, developer, model builder, reporting, or systems analyst capacity with 3+ years using Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Strong understanding of financial planning processes including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis.
• Experience creating in/out bound integrations between Workday Financial Management, Workday HCM, and Workday Adaptive Planning.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary Workday Adaptive Planning administrator with day-to-day administration, configuration, maintenance, and optimization responsibilities.
• Own and maintain Adaptive Planning structures including models, dimensions, accounts, versions, sheets, and security.
• Translate business requirements into scalable Adaptive configurations for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and workforce planning.
• Manage user access, roles, permissions, and security while ensuring data governance and system performance.
• Maintain system documentation, standards, and training materials; conduct knowledge-transfer sessions for users.
• Design and build Adaptive Planning models applying strong FP&A understanding to balance flexibility with controls.
• Partner with Finance and stakeholders to define reporting requirements and translate them into effective Adaptive reporting solutions.
• Develop, monitor, reconcile and troubleshoot integrations and data flows between Workday systems and Adaptive Planning.
• Collaborate with IT, HRIS and other teams on integrations, data architecture, APIs, and technical issues.
• Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to evaluate needs and recommend scalable, maintainable solutions.
