Job summary

Progressive is seeking a Workday Absence systems consultant within the Human Resources and Legal Systems organization. You will support corporate HR with absence management solutions and collaborate with business systems teams to analyze processes, identify improvements, and design scalable solutions.

This remote role includes occasional travel to Cleveland for meetings and training, with a strong emphasis on documentation, implementation, and ongoing enhancements of the Workday Absence module.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of experience in business systems (e.g., systems integration, technology solutions, project management, process design and optimization, testing and troubleshooting, training and supporting users, ensuring compliance and security, gathering and documenting requirements).
• Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree or higher with five+ years of experience in business systems (same areas).

Responsibilities

• Support HR with absence management solutions within the Workday Absence module.
• Analyze existing processes, identify improvement opportunities, and design scalable, efficient solutions.
• Assist with implementation and ongoing enhancements of Workday Absence; develop detailed documentation.
• Ensure system efforts align with business needs and are executed effectively.
