Job summary

World Fuel Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Wholesale Sales Executive to own a Western U.S. territory, prospecting and closing new wholesale fuel customers while managing a growing book of business.

This highly autonomous, field-based role requires building relationships with distributors, jobbers, retailers and industrial buyers, negotiating pricing and contracts, and delivering reliable fuel supply solutions. California, Nevada and Arizona coverage with travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of wholesale fuel sales or related energy sales experience.
• Proven success winning new business and growing customer relationships.
• Ability to develop, manage, and grow a book of business.
• Experience negotiating pricing, contracts and commercial agreements.
• Knowledge of fuel pricing, supply points, terminals, and wholesale dynamics.
• Travel willingness to cover the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, develop, and close new wholesale fuel customers in the territory.
• Build relationships with distributors, jobbers, retailers, and industrial buyers.
• Develop territory growth strategies to increase gallons, revenue, and gross profit.
• Own and manage a portfolio of wholesale fuel accounts and expand share of wallet.
• Structure pricing, volume commitments, and commercial agreements.
