Job summary

World Fuel is expanding its wholesale fuels business across the Western United States and seeks an experienced Wholesale Sales Executive to drive growth. You will own your territory, build and manage a book of business, and sell both delivered transport fuel and FOB rack solutions.

This highly autonomous field-based role requires a proven sales track record, strong relationship skills, and the ability to travel 30-40% across California, Nevada, and Arizona.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of wholesale fuel sales or related energy sales experience.
• Proven success winning new business and growing customer relationships.
• Experience negotiating pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements.
• Knowledge of fuel pricing, terminals, and wholesale market dynamics.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and MS Office.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel the territory.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, develop, and close new wholesale fuel customers in the assigned territory.
• Manage a portfolio of wholesale fuel accounts and grow share of wallet.
• Negotiate pricing, volume commitments, and commercial agreements.
• Collaborate with supply and operations teams to ensure reliable execution.
