Job summary

CEBA is seeking a Manager, Western Policy to shape state and regional policy efforts across Western electricity markets. This role drives policy development, engages with policymakers and regulators, and coordinates with CEBA members to advance clean energy procurement.

Reporting to the Director of Western Policy, you will manage projects from inception to execution, participate in funding development, and collaborate with multiple teams to deliver impactful policy outcomes in the Western U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in energy/policy/utilities.
• Strong ability to analyze complex issues and communicate recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Execution & Thought Leadership: contribute to Western strategy and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Policy & Market Engagement: advocate with regulators and policymakers; inform strategies on clean energy policy.
• Project & Team Management: lead projects with budgeting and cross-functional collaboration; supervise external partners.
• Stakeholder Engagement: build relationships with government agencies, policymakers, businesses, NGOs; facilitate working groups.
