Job summary

Pall Corporation, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager – West to lead the Food & Beverage sales team across the Western United States. The role emphasizes profitable growth, strategic account management, and field leadership while working remotely to cover a broad geographic area.

You will coach a dispersed team, drive territory plans, forecast accurately, and collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Service, and Supply Chain to deliver customer solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Food Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Minimum 8 years of B2B sales experience involving technical products, industrial equipment, or manufacturing solutions.
• Direct sales management experience with responsibility for field sales team performance and development.
• Experience managing multi-state sales territories with direct accountability for orders, revenue, and sales targets.
• Experience developing and executing territory plans, strategic account plans, and sales growth initiatives.
• Experience using Salesforce or a comparable customer relationship management platform for opportunity management, pipeline tracking, and sales forecasting.
• Experience managing technical sales processes and commercial negotiations involving manufacturing, engineering, operations, or procurement stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a geographically dispersed team of field sales representatives, establishing clear performance expectations and driving accountability for results.
• Deliver regional orders, revenue, and profitability objectives through effective territory management, customer retention, and execution of commercial growth initiatives.
• Drive new customer acquisition, competitive conversions, market-share expansion, and growth of recurring consumables business.
• Maintain a strong field presence through joint customer visits, strategic account engagement, and ongoing coaching to improve sales effectiveness.
• Lead regional funnel management, opportunity qualification, forecasting, and sales activity reviews to ensure pipeline quality and predictable commercial performance.
• Develop and execute territory and key-account strategies, including complex commercial negotiations and initiatives to expand customer relationships.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering, Systems Sales, Marketing, Service, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to deliver customer solutions and resolve commercial challenges.
