Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Manager, Solutions Architects for our Enterprise team in the San Francisco Bay area. You’ll lead a distributed group of intermediate and senior Solutions Architects serving enterprise customers in the West sales territory, guiding them from discovery through technical validation and successful adoption of the GitLab platform.

The role is fully remote across North America. You’ll hire, coach, and retain a high-performing team, set expectations, and model hands-on solution

Qualifications

• Experience mentoring and developing technical team members.
• Experience leading technical pre-sales in an enterprise context.
• Ability to collaborate with other managers and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead a distributed team of intermediate and senior Solutions Architects in Enterprise.
• Coach and develop team members with regular feedback and career support.
• Guide team to hire, onboard, and maintain high performance.
• Contribute in customer opportunities from discovery to adoption of GitLab.
• Align technical evaluations with business outcomes and customer requirements.
