Bard Valley Date Growers is seeking a Business Development Manager for the West Coast to drive growth with retailers and brokers. You will own regional strategy, manage broker networks, and present data-driven plans to senior leadership.

You will forecast revenue, collaborate with national teams, and develop new business opportunities beyond traditional produce, while delivering measurable results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CPG sales experience (produce or dried fruit preferred).
• Experience managing brokers at HQ and retail levels.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. retail customers and broker networks.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and virtual selling skills.
• Proficient in CRM; strong Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams usage.
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.

Responsibilities

• Own the West Coast region with a strategic plan for each customer.
• Develop new business beyond traditional produce grocery.
• Build and manage a broker network and lead retail incentives.
• Set region revenue and volume budgets; forecast monthly.
• Create data-driven account presentations for key decision makers.
• Share insights with other Business Development Managers nationwide.
