Job summary

wildwonder is seeking a dynamic, driven Key Account Manager for the West who will grow our beverage brand in food service and alternative channels. This remote role works with the Director of Food Service to expand current distribution and develop new accounts across the West Coast and national networks.

You will analyze markets, manage relationships with distributors and buyers, and craft compelling sales presentations to drive revenue.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in sales.
• Familiarity with key channel customers and distributors preferred (e.g., Vistar, Compass Group, US Foods, Guckenheimer, Sodexo, Aramark, Sysco, UNFI, Kehe, Foodbuy, Canteen, Entegra).
• Previous experience with GPOs, Vistar, US Food, Canteen or Sysco preferred.
• Prior experience calling on coffee channels or health-focused QSRs preferred.
• Proven communication, presentation and analytical skills.
• Highly motivated, resourceful, and a go-getter.
• Proficient in Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail; Excel; Microsoft Word.
• Willingness to travel for shows and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Identify market opportunities, research food service target accounts and purchasing managers, and build out sales pipeline.
• Outreach to potential customers and build relationships with distributors, re-distributors and buyers to achieve sales goals and targets.
• Prepare effective sales presentations and pitch customers via email, phone, video calls, or in-person meetings.
• Represent wildwonder at trade shows and sales events, and coordinate product samples and marketing materials.
• Support customer and distributor activation, and manage distributor and account relationships.
• Analyze distributor and customer sales reports and conduct market and data analysis.
