Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Wellness Coordinator to support members with behavioral health and substance use needs in a remote nationwide role. You will locate and engage members, screen for gaps in care, and develop plans to overcome access barriers while coordinating with clinical partners.

The role requires experience in behavioral health, case management, and handling sensitive information. A standard 40-hour week is expected, with EST/CST time zone alignment and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer proficiency experience.
• 1+ years of Dual diagnosis experience with mental health and substance abuse.
• 1+ years handling sensitive issues with members and providers in a confidential manner.
• 2+ years in behavioral health and case management.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound/outbound member queue and document in electronic systems.
• Coordinate information with clinical team partners.
• Screen members to identify gaps in care and engage them.
• Provide network referrals and community resources for treatment access.
• Provide administrative support to Behavioral Health Case Management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
