Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is seeking a Wellness Coordinator to support team members across southeastern Texas and southwestern Louisiana. This remote role requires travel up to 60% and focuses on social determinants of health, housing, food access, mental health, and financial assistance.

The role collaborates with Christus Health and community partners to connect teammates with resources and assist with eligibility for programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Health Education preferred.
• MSW or Certified Health Coach credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and analyze needs assessments to identify team member needs and connect them with community resources.
• Assist team members with applications for assistance programs and benefit enrollment.
• Coordinate with emergency assistance funds to support teammates facing financial hardships.
• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations and service providers.
• Partner with department managers to ensure team members receive appropriate support.
• Facilitate educational sessions focused on whole-person health and wellness.
• Conduct follow-ups to monitor outcomes and identify program improvements.
