Sentara Health is expanding its PRN Registered Nurse team for a physician practice setting in Virginia Beach, with a remote weekend day shift (Sat, Sun, Mon, 7am–7:30pm).

This role supports outpatient care, triage, education, and coordination of referrals, with duties including administering medications and documenting in the electronic health record. ADN required; BSN preferred; NCLEX-RN completed and valid state license.

Qualifications

• ADN is required; BSN preferred.
• 1–2 years ambulatory/clinic nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN license in state; NCLEX-RN passed.
• Ambulatory care knowledge and patient education skills.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients in physician practice or ambulatory clinic.
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications and immunizations.
• Coordinate referrals, follow-up, and care continuity.
• Document care in the EHR and support population health outreach.
