Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a fully remote Primary Care Physician to join our virtual primary care team. This is a full-time, weekend-focused role requiring 40 hours/week with three 12-hour shifts: Saturday, Sunday, and one weekday, with flexible start times between 7:00 am and 9:00 am ET.

You will manage your own patient panel, delivering video-based primary care including preventive care, sick visits, and chronic condition management, from home with support from K Health’s platform and Care

Qualifications

Board certification in Family or Internal Medicine.
Active NC or SC medical license.
Minimum 3 years post-residency experience.
At least 2 years in-person primary care.
Experience with virtual visits and telehealth.
Proficient with EPIC EMR.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality preventive, acute, and chronic care in a fully remote setting.
Deliver compassionate patient encounters in video-based care.
Manage a dedicated panel of patients as their PCP.
Refer patients to specialists when clinically indicated.
Participate in population health initiatives for risk-attributed patients.
Support patients post-discharge to improve understanding of treatment plans.
Adhere to clinical guidelines and best practices.
