Job summary

Duke Primary Care seeks a Virtual Primary Care Physician to deliver comprehensive primary care through video visits. You will manage acute, chronic, and preventive care in a virtual setting, partnering with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality outcomes.

This role allows work from home or another private location, with shifts aligned to patient needs and a virtual care center support structure that connects with Duke Health labs, imaging, and in-person services as needed.

Qualifications

• Physician with internal medicine, family medicine, or IM-Peds training.

Responsibilities

• High-quality care delivery via video visits for acute illness, chronic disease management, and preventive care.
• Direct patient and family communication through virtual platforms.
• Collaborate with inpatient/outpatient specialists to plan care and coordinate services.
• Document clinical data and maintain accurate medical records for compliance.
• Support virtual care workflows and stay updated on telemedicine guidelines.
