Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Virtual Primary Care Physician to join a fully remote program serving North Carolina and South Carolina from anywhere in the United States. The role is 40 hours per week on weekdays, with 36 clinical hours and start times between 7:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

ET. This physician provides preventive, acute, and chronic care through video visits, maintains an established patient panel, and coordinates care with specialists.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• At least three years of post-residency experience.
• Active medical licensure in North Carolina or South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive, acute, and chronic care through video visits.
• Maintain an established patient panel and coordinate with specialists.
• Support post-discharge follow-up and population-health initiatives.
• Uphold clinical guidelines and determine when virtual care suffices vs. in-person care.
