Job summary

Smartling is hiring a Web Integrations Support Engineer to join the Professional Services team. You will own customer tickets end to end, troubleshoot integrations, and collaborate with Engineering to resolve issues.

You’ll build tooling, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and safely modify production configurations in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. This role emphasizes methodical problem solving, strong written/spoken communication, and the ability to operate across Pacific and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years in a customer-facing technical role focused on troubleshooting and solution design.

Responsibilities

• Own customer tickets end to end with clear root-cause explanations and next steps.
• Run troubleshooting sessions with customer engineers and advise on integration best practices.
• Escalate to Engineering with clear reproduction steps for product fixes.
• Build scripts and tooling to speed diagnosis and configuration.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Make changes to live production configurations with testing, rollback plans, and clear communication.
• Act with precision and urgency when customers are affected and manage changing scope.
• Continue learning about new web technologies and contribute to process improvements.
