Job summary
Interactive Strategies is seeking an experienced Project Manager in the Washington, DC area to drive web projects from planning through delivery. You will coordinate Strategy, Design, Content, Development, and QA teams, manage timelines and budgets, and nurture client relationships to ensure projects stay on scope, on time, and on budget.
The role emphasizes proactive communication, strategic thinking, and a collaborative culture.
Qualifications
- 7+ years experience managing complex, integrated client projects.
- Experience with content management systems (Drupal, WordPress, Sitecore).
- Knowledge of SDLC and custom CMS builds.
- Proficiency with Teamwork, Smartsheet, Excel or similar PM tools.
- Experience in contract and budget management.
- Experience writing functional and technical requirements.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Own timeline and budget outcomes in projects.
- Collaborate with Strategy, Design, Content, Development, and BA/QA to deliver on scope, on time, on budget.
- Develop long-term client relationships with proactive service and communication.
- Create project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports for website development projects.
- Create documentation (Teamwork tickets) to guide internal teams.
- Refine and enhance the company’s website design and development process.
- Collaborate with Strategy Team to introduce innovative solutions.
- Evaluate new leads, engage in lead generation, and assist in proposals.
- Represent the company at web/marketing conferences and networking events.
- Pursue professional development and stay current with web/marketing trends.
