Job summary

Interactive Strategies, a well-respected interactive agency in downtown Washington, DC, seeks an experienced Project Manager to drive complex web projects with strong client relationships and cross-functional collaboration. You will own timelines and budgets, partner with Strategy, Design, Content, Development, and BA/QA teams, and develop deliverables to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience managing complex, integrated client projects (agency or client-facing)
• Strong account management background.
• Experience with Drupal, WordPress, or Sitecore CMS.
• Knowledge of the SDLC and how it applies to custom CMS builds.
• Experience with Teamwork, Smartsheet, Excel, or other PM systems.
• Experience in contract and budget management.
• Experience writing functional and technical requirements.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own timeline and budget outcomes in projects.
• Collaborate with Strategy, Design, Content, Development, and BA/QA teams to deliver best-in-class web projects on time and on budget.
• Develop long-term client relationships by providing personal client service and communication.
• Create project plans, schedules, budgets and status reports and other deliverables.
• Create appropriate project documentation such as Teamwork tickets to guide internal teams.
• Collaborate with management to refine and enhance the company’s website design and development process.
• Collaborate with Strategy Team to integrate new solutions.
• Evaluate new business leads, engage in lead generation, and participate in proposal creation.
• Represent the company to the wider web/marketing communities via conferences and networking.
• Pursue professional development and stay attuned to emerging web and marketing techniques.
