Interactive Strategies in Washington, DC is seeking a Web Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will manage a portfolio of website retainer accounts, nurture client relationships, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver on time and on budget.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of agency or client-facing project management experience, strong communication, and hands-on knowledge of CMSs like Drupal and WordPress.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience managing digital projects in an agency or client-facing environment.
• Experience with content management systems such as Drupal and WordPress.
• Proficiency in Teamwork, Smartsheet, Excel, or similar project management tools for creating schedules, budgets, status reports, and workflow tracking.
• Experience writing functional and technical requirements for web development projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust through empathy and personalized service.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a portfolio of web retainer accounts.
• Represent brand promise: details matter.
• Create project plans, timelines, budgets, and status reports to keep engagements on time and on budget.
• Define scope and requirements with clients and internal teams to develop user flows and functional requirements.
• Refine and enhance project management processes with leadership.
• Collaborate with Strategy, Design, Development, and Content teams to meet client goals.
• Evaluate new business opportunities, assist with proposals, and identify ways to expand client partnerships.
• Represent Interactive Strategies at industry events and networking opportunities.
