Job summary

Gables Search Group is assisting a client in finding a Business Development Manager to grow its residential and light commercial water treatment business. You can work remotely from Wisconsin, but you’ll visit the Reedsburg headquarters regularly and travel 30%–50% for customer meetings and trade shows.

The role offers a $120,000 base salary augmented by commission, with first-year commissions of $20,000–$40,000 for solid performers.

Qualifications

• Substantial sales experience in residential or light commercial water treatment.
• Record of winning new business and maintaining customer relationships through full sales cycle.
• Knowledge of water softeners, filtration, RO, valves, tanks and media is essential.
• Experience using Salesforce CRM and AI productivity tools.
• Ability to travel 30%–50% and visit the Reedsburg headquarters regularly.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business with OEMs, distributors, dealers, plumbing customers, and private-label partners.
• Manage opportunities from prospecting and product testing through proposals, negotiation, and closing.
• Help customers select and apply water treatment equipment and systems.
• Grow existing accounts and coordinate with engineering, product, operations, and quality teams.
• Maintain an accurate Salesforce pipeline and forecast.
