Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking a Senior Product Service Specialist – Water Heaters. This remote role supports the US Central and Eastern Time zones, serving as a technical resource for heat pump, gas, and electric water heaters.

You will guide installations, troubleshoot, and coordinate with engineering, quality, and service teams. You’ll act independently on difficult issues, drive service improvements, and help ensure a strong customer ownership experience across the service

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in field service, technical product support, troubleshooting, or related technical discipline.
• Experience with heat pump, gas, or electric water heaters.
• Ability to diagnose technical product issues and provide practical service guidance.
• Experience reading installation instructions, service manuals, schematics, or wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary technical resource for installation, operation, troubleshooting, and service questions for water heaters.
• Support field investigations by gathering data and coordinating with engineering and quality teams for root-cause analysis.
• Contribute to serviceability improvements and product support readiness through cross-functional collaboration.
• Develop and maintain service bulletins, FAQs, and troubleshooting guidance for field use.
• Track field issues and communicate trends to partners to support product updates and launches.
