Santander is seeking a Vice President for Structured Finance - Energy in the United States to lead origination, structuring and distribution of syndicated loans. The role focuses on Investment Grade, Non-Investment Grade, Middle Market, CRE and Asset Based Finance, with senior client engagement and deal team leadership.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education - Required
• Master’s Degree in related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education - Preferred
• 9+ Years Business Development, Product Specialist Management, or related experience - Required
• Demonstrated successful execution of syndicated loan transactions
• Self-motivated and adept at setting, driving and leading a team to execute pipeline growth success

Responsabilidades

• Initiates, develops and enhances relationships with senior executives at existing clients and targeted prospects, with the objective of enhancing revenue generation and risk-adjusted return on capital for the Company.
• Develops and maintain relationships with participating lenders to ensure adequate market demand for syndicated loans originated by the Company.
• Ensures transaction due diligence by overseeing the underwriting process for potential transactions.
• Partners with Relationship Managers on new business development opportunities related to syndicated bank loans.
• Oversees junior level staff from a financial, operational, competitive and industry perspective.
• Supports management on new business development opportunities related to syndicated bank loans.
• Participates in joint calling effort with bankers in an effort to uncover syndicated loan opportunities with clients.
