Banco Santander SA seeks a Vice President in Structured Finance - Energy in the United States to lead the execution of syndicated loan origination, structuring and distribution. You will drive deal teams across IG/NG/ Middle Market and CRE/ABL segments, and nurture senior client and lender relationships.

You will oversee underwriting, collaborate with Relationship Managers on opportunities, and mentor junior staff while traveling as needed to client sites and industry events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent
• Master’s degree preferred
• 9+ years of relevant experience in business development or syndicated loans
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory

Responsabilités

• Execute origination, structuring and distribution of syndicated loans.
• Lead deal teams in Investment Grade, Non-Investment Grade, Middle Market, CRE and ABL segments.
• Develop and maintain relationships with senior executives at clients and lenders.
• Oversee underwriting diligence and ensure robust risk-adjusted returns.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers on new business opportunities and drive pipeline growth.
• Supervise junior staff and manage cross-functional stakeholders.
• Travel as required to client sites and events.
